RecyclingWhat to do with outdated and unwanted computers is becoming an increasingly vexing question for companies large and small. The components on these products include aluminum, plastics, glass, cathode ray tubes (CRT's), liquid crystal displays (LCD's), solder, lead, and other materials that are not friendly to the environment. As a result, many states have made it illegal to simply throw-out or dump used computers and related electronic equipment. Warp Computers specializes in the disposition of computer and electronic equipment either by dropping off your salvage at our store on Capital Boulevard in Raleigh, North Carolina, or arrangements can be made for reasonable pick-up. Warp Computers Recycling Center accepts computer equipment of ANY age and ANY condition, working or non-working. There is a small reuse charge for some items. Our Mission is to promote the highest and best re-use of computer equipment, and recycle the unusable items to keep them out of our landfills. Warp Computers has an effective program providing refurbished computers to public schools, third world countries and community nonprofits organizations. Warp Computers' bridges the 'digital divide' and our surplus provides low-cost computer systems and parts to the public. |
